Hi, thanks for stopping by our site, I'm Sarah Ali, a life long lover of chocolate, licensed professional counselor and a multi-disciplined artist (couldn't just pick one). While doing my masters in counseling psychology I was playing with colors on makeup clients while working at the M.A.C. cosmetics counter and also building my portrait photography portfolio. After my psychotherapy internship was completed, I attended makeup school in Hollywood to learn more about artistry. In 2009 I created The Transformation Studio: a wellness and beauty center. A year later, I started a beauty line called Chamak  as an homage to the South Asian culture and was delighted to see it growing steadily.  It has expanded to include not only ready to wear cosmetics, organic skincare, fragrance but also a custom blend bar where clients come to make custom made products tailored to their skincolor, skin type, personality and style. August 2015, we opened our signature Chamak Cosmetics & Chocolates shop.
Though, before any of my other artistic passions began,  my first love was cooking and baking sweets. My mom is an amazing cook and passed down her love for culinary art to my sister and myself.  After creating Chamak Makeup, I decided to expand the line to also showcase gourmet confections inspired by my culture.  After some self study and tasty experimentation during the summer of 2012, I enrolled in a professional chocolatier course to learn more skills and techniques. To deepen my skill level, I trained at the world reknowned Institute Le Notre to learn classical pastry and chocolatiering techniques developed by France's legendary pastry chefs.

I am proud to be one of the first chocolatiers to incorporate the rich and wonderful flavors of eastern cuisine into chocolate, confections & pastries. I have had a phenomenal time concocting flavors with my family who help me come up with  unusual flavors. Our products are handmade, from scratch and created in the studio.  We would be delighted if you came by to try our exotic flavors! You can you can call in an order and pick up a box of fresh Chamak Chocolates when you're driving through Sugar Land or we can deliver or mail them out to you.
